Harwich Sea Festival 2007

Sunday 29th of July in conjunction with Sea Festival day, saw Harwich Lifeboats and Boathouse open to the public for viewing. The overcast weather did not deter the 2 thousand or so people on the quay with Approx 600-700 people viewing the boats, some running out of time and being turned away so the Lifeboats could proceed in to the harbour for the Air-Sea Rescue Demonstration.

The total raised on lifeboat day was £ 1060.30.

All at the Harwich station would like to thank the many volunteers, helpers and supporting associates, and of course the general public for a great day and their un relentless support.
