23rd of June 2006 The Roughs Towers top platform caught alight due to a electrical fire. The Harwich Lifeboat stood by the Roughs Tower until a local fire tug extinguished the fire.

2nd February 1996, RoRo vessel "Rossanne" on fire at Parkstone quay. Both lifeboats stood by, while fire fighters dealt with the fire

21st May 1986, large motor craft "Lenton Rose" towed in by the John Fison, in gale force winds and rough seas

6 September 2000 the ALB returned to Harwich 20 hours after launching to the yacht "I Like It". Due to the gale force winds, the lifeboat towed the yacht to Zeebrugge

26th August 1970, injured passenger being taken off the passenger vessal "Dana Anglia"

22 October 1993, Motor cruiser "Petra" broken down, towed in by the John Fison

14th June 1987, whilst returning from an PR visit. Smoke was seen coming from the 70' ex-trawler "Mary La" decks. The lifeboat boat crew started to fight the fire, after some time the owner confirm no one was on board. The local fire brigade arrived and finished to clear the remaining smoldering timbers.

Abandoned Yacht 10 miles East of Aldeburgh with no one board, search by Harwich and Aldeburgh lifeboat. Yacht was found to contain large quantity of drugs on board. Yacht towed back to Harwich.
